      A trainer can help you.

Find a muay thai, boxing gym and train standup

Find a Judo, jujitsu gym, and train grappling

Ok first off you are to heavy! you need to cut your Weight and get a good cardio base. So first off you need to go join a gym that has a good cardio program, yes this means you will be working out with women mostly, which is good motivation. ha ha In the mean time you need to work on your stand up and ground fighting. You may have to find 2 other gyms/martial art schools that offer it. All forms of martial arts are good to learn, kind of the more the better. Most M/A schools take 2+ years to obtain a true Black Belt so in the mean time you need to fins out if your even cut out to fight? believe it or not i have seen a lot of guys who come into my school and say i can fight only to watch them leave knowing WOW! that’s not what i thought it was all about. Also understand it will take you maybe 4 yrs to get up to the UFC and even then your never guaranteed a spot. if you what to know more email me at dandc4kids@yahoo.com i will be glad to help.
