Heavy bag, it will help with power and balance better than the stand alone. I have both.

hanging because you can learn to move with it and against it….but only if you use it properly

Don’t listen to the guy who said neither, go to a gym.

Having a heavy bag at home is a good investment. You can train whenever you feel the need. It’s also the best way to relieve stress out there.

Opt for a hanging bag for the reasons everyone else has already stated.

The thing with free standing bags, they’re not very sturdy, they move around a lot, it’s a different striking surface, they’re difficult to move around… Overall I’m not a fan.

To be a good fighter you should have a specific training . Ask yourself and when you’lll have a trainer ask him too what are your goals and what aspects of the game you want to master . After that, this kind of questions will naturally be answered . Good luck .
