if u want good hand to hand combat guides go to a military surplus store and buy hand to hand combat books besides that it really depends on you ad what your looking for in perticular like brazlian ju jitsu mauy thai teakwando jeet kune do ninjitsu kickboxing wrestling or boxing and so you know before you go and buy a book try google searching it by searching "free online guide to ______" put either a martial arts you wish to research or a military combat guide that you wish to reasearch in there this should save time and money on your adventure in to the knowlege of martial arts i wish u luck
There are a lot of new ones coming out all the time, and probably quite a few of them are good. But to my surprise (because wrestling is not something I usually enjoy that much), I really liked Couture’s "Wrestling For Fighting". Very well illustrated, good, detailed, practical instruction.
The Tao of Jeet Kune Do is a good book that incorporates martial arts philosophies and explains the purposes and idealology behind different types of techniques in real life combat…rather than just a "how to"
