The Original Crazy 20 Second Capoeira MMA Knockout!
Marcus “Lelo” Aurelio of AXE Capoeira Vancouver knocks out Keegan “The Marshall” Marshall at North American Challenge #24 in North Vancouver, BC on April.4th.2009. Best… Knockout… EVER! Jordan Breen of Sherdog Radio talked about the video I filmed of Lelo’s amazing knock out for 7 minutes on his radio show this week! www.sherdog.com He discusses the awesomeness of Lelo’s kick from 1hr:13 1hr:20 of the show. “One of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in this sport” – Jordan Breen My video was also featured on ESPN2′s Sportsnation on August,5th.2009. They asked the question “Are you tough enough to take a kick to the face”… espn.go.com
fucking awsome!…. i never thought it wouldve worked though, or even seen it coming in that matter lol
I’ve never seen such a powerful kick. That is life threatening, amazing.
pretty sure the white guy’s dead
was pretty awesome, id like to see this guy in a full round tho, is there any on here of full fights? lol
@GRANDECTV we call that kick, PWNAGE
@GRANDECTV we call that kick PWNAGE
thats right, fuck all mma~
Oh my god that was dead on perfect lol
lol yeh tho if that guy bloked it he was fucked
TAG !
TAG ! the MMA /Breakdance afterwards was cool, too.
@ZeroMalarki The art is probably so unorthodox that the guy didnt know what the heck to do, the opponent i mean if the other guy is fast enough he could probably keep another opponent away till he could get the kill
@Mider999 The unorthodox style can only hold so much weight against certain fighters. Keith Jardine is well renowned for his unusual stance and style of fighting but once his style was understood he couldn’t hold his own. This is perhaps the same with Lyoto Machida although he is pretty good.
NICE!
@ZeroMalarki It depends on the person performing the art.
0:30 awww snap!!!
@Mider999 And the person fighting him, yadda yadda yadda. I’d say very few people are likely to be able to use capoeira effectively in MMA or on the street, even after years of training. Sure there might be a few who are just Gods of capoeira but few and far between. The shot we see lands flush. Landing a flush shot is often a matter of luck rather than skill. When you see so many spins like that it seems more like luck. I could be wrong but I’d say more fighters could read what was coming
This was fucking SOLID
Holy crap! I’ve never seen a spinkick with THAT much momentum!
omg..that capoeira so luck~he move like a monkey~
