Sanjeev Sharma Prepares for Biggest Fight of His MMA Life
www.ctvvancouverisland.ca VICTORIA – Sanjeev Sharma is approaching the biggest fight of his MMA life in November’s AFC 7. The amateur fighter will enter the cage with a heavy heart though after his father, Ramesh Sharma, was killed by a motorist outside Victoria International Airport on July 29th, 2011. Sanjeev is dealing with grief the best way he knows how, by looking ahead rather than focusing on the pain of losing the most important man in his life. Sanjeev is a full-time student, works 30 hours per week and trains twice a day with Jason Heit’s Island MMA. Win or lose, Sanjeev Sharma’s heart has already made him a champion.
