What kind of sanctions seat belt Brazilian jujitsu organization?

I'm looking in the schools of BJJ, but not sure I understand line and how to know if the school is recognized as a BJJ school. Is there a difference between a school and other schools Gracie BJJ schools? I'm from Southern California so there is plenty to choose from. There are even professional clubs that teach jiujitsu MMA but I'm looking for something that is certified BJJ.

there's really no organization, Gracie Jiu Jitsu is regulated, but not many schools around and they tend to be more expensive not to mention that except for the name of Gracie Jiu Jitsu and Jiu Jitsu are exactly the same. If you talk to the instructor will be more than happy to say they have learned (if there is something wrong) (if any of the names mentioned are Gracie, Machado, Sauer and thats as good as it gets) and you can check the credentials of people, so ask and find a record for the competition, the instructor must surely be one and the school probably has sent people to compete, but maybe not as a team, or may be a new school. It is the story as short nocertified BJJ but should not be difficult know if its legitimate and a record of the competition is a good indicator (taking great coaches that are tremendous competitors and vice versa, but still must have at least one record). In addition, many but not all higher belts are listed in BJJ BJJ.org
