Sparring Technical question?

When you're sparring, and change the feet, as in the foot right foot left foot again …. Are you going some air and "jump" in position, or drag their feet on the ground keeping them light around the switch? I am especially interested in knowing the people who do the styles of karate, TKD, boxing, Muay Thai and MMA. If you do TKD, please specify WTF, ITF, ATA, or others. James For those of you who do not have it, Please clarify what you train in. If TKD, then specify the type. So when I say air, I mean, as someone said, just a little off the ground, less than one inch of soil. It is a small difference between keeping the toes in contact with the switch, as opposed to having a bit of air between the foot and the ground. In addition, I will not steal any distance with the switch, just switch.

Slides …. not to go …. you tend to form if you miss, you need more time …. and makes you vulnerable ….
