In Martial Arts, Are There Any Mixed Gender Competitions in the World?
I’m talking about full contact sparring, and point sparring. Are there any women who won these competitions, or is it just one fighter being more muscular and powerful and bigger than the other?
And when I say sparring, I’m talking about while wearing full gear, and stuff, and not the being in the ring in MMA or the UFC since they have separate divisions.
Here in the USA, there have been some male versus female match ups in small mma shows. Also, I used to train with someone from Hawaii and he said he trained a lady there that competed and won against a man in a grappling tournament. I’m sure that there have been official competitions like you are describing that are mixed gender competitions.
