I have the same problem at times. When you work out your metabolism starts firing up and can go for several hours after you have worked out which keeps you awake. I have done a few things to help, one I eat right after my workout but I add rice along with my protein because it is high on the glycemic index so it helps you sleep. After I eat I take a hot shower to relax me and I have put Blackout Curtains in my bedroom windows so no light shows in the room, in fact I have removed all light in my bedroom so I fall asleep easier. Before your workouts don’t drink anything with alot of sugar or caffeine like protein drinks or gatorade… drink water only. Hope this helps.
Your wound up, sit in a hot tub, or do something to relax yourself.

Anytime you train before bed is not a good idea. when you train correctly, it gives you energy.
