How to Add in Weightlifting to Mma Training?
Recently i started mma. I have actually been progressing very quickly and have progressed faster than all the other beginners at my gym, and am getting very interested in this. If i am training mma 4 to 5 times a week, with 1 judo, 2 bjj and 2 muay thai classes, how can i add in a weight lifting schedule that will give me results? The workouts on the muay thai classes are very intense. Please keep in mind i am 14, turning 15 very soon.
Also, how can i use my extreme flexibility to my advantage?
weightlift on the weekends. try upper body on saturday then lower body on sunday. try to go at least once duriong the week. the truth is, if you really want to get stronger, you need to cut back on some of your classes. you need to lift every 2-3 days, at max.
