How Much Training in MMA Would I Need to Go Out and Actually Compete?

I just joined FFA (freestyle fighting academy). it’s located down here in south florida and i was wondering how long would i have to train and where would i go to actually compete.
I have a wrestling background and i’m 16, if that makes a difference.

Thanks

I wouldn’t even want to try to compete in MMA matches without at least 2 years of training. Let alone being alowed to, I wouldn’t want to try. They don’t have "rank divisions" (i.e. beginner, intermediate, advanced, etc.), only weight classes. So, a novice like yourself could end up having to fight someone with a long training history.

Stay in your school and spar with the other students. Then, in about 2 years, your skills should be sufficient to enter the cage against an ‘unknown’ opponent.

You cant compete until your 18. If you train hard for two years. You will be a monstor. I hope you not my wight division.

You are at a good school, I am pretty sure they will tell you when you are ready.

Wrong, theres some organizations that will let you compete at 16 like King of the Cage and XCC.

Tylar Michaelis was 16 and was fighting, hes a bad ass. Look him up on youtube.

King of the Cage will let you fight with parents authorization.
