How Can I Get Better at Mma and Boxing Without Going to the Local Training Classes?

I dont want to learn with everyone else because they just put me down.
Would boxing with my dad help?

The only way to learn how to fight, is to fight.
Get yourself on the school wrestling team and enroll yourself in your local boxing gym.
Don’t be afraid of being put down, instead use the people you compete with to learn from.
I’ve been boxing for a little over 7 years now, started when I was 12, and although I am pretty experienced now I am always improving.
I was a shy little kid first time I walked into my gym, I never would’ve thought I’d wind up coaching beginners myself.

    Good luck man.

You can start off alone through watching and reading, and conditioning your body. You can even get a personal trainer, and your dad can help too.

However, I think you will eventually need to be learning WITH others. Your strengths are only as good as how your opponents allow it to be. If you don’t learn and spar with others, you will never know and measure how good you are and thus you will never progress.
