What are you even saying right now..
You dont SPAR with the actual competetive/licensed MMA Gloves.
Even with hand wraps thats a safety hazard.
You need to use 16oz SPARRING gloves, which happen to be made for STRIKING..
@SideEffectIsMLG I’m istructor 43 years old, I’ve competed a lot in muay thai in Thailand, in Kyokushin, bjj and MMA… You should have to know that are gloves for spar in MMA for striking and for grappling..
Hayabusa are not good for strike ! (I know perfectly that if anyone wants to strike “without damage” have to use 16/18/ or 20 oz. … but that are not good for grab techniques.. is too difficult for you to understand what am I talking about !??
@k03ntje It depends on the gym but in most cases he is correct. 16 oz gloves are usually used for sparring. In all honesty, I have never heard of anyone using 10 oz gloves for sparring before so I don’t know where you are from. Even in the UFC, TUF, Pride etc you will see the pro mma fighters sparring with 16 oz gloves and, in some cases even head gear in order to avoid injury.
@spikelee2u How does it make someone a “pussy” for wanting to prevent serious injury during practice? I am assuming you have never left your basement to go to a gym (let alone competed) before and you are just one of those wannabe tough guys that pretend like they have 8 black belts on the internet.
@dgbg9 aaaaaaaaaaaaaahh!! shut the fuck up!! keyboard warrior!! got to ur room & continue playing with ur tinny winnie and ur dungeons and dragons game!!
That gloves leave the little knuckles completelly uncover… good for hurt the sparring partner !
