    Understand that a verbal submission is not limited to saying “tap tap”. Even a scream or yell is sufficient enough to have the ref stop the fight from having the opponent incurring any unnecessary damage. She had a legit deep armbar, even D’Alelio admitted to yelling. If it went any further that arm would have shattered. Respect and congrats to Rousey.

    “Aaagh” is considered a verbal tap.

    You don’t see it often with professionals but it happens often with amateurs.

    You’ll see verbal taps in the show Bully Beatdown because they don’t know what they’re doing.
