I wouldn’t think so. Just stretch normally like you would for any other sport. I have found out once you get your legs loose it to go through each step of a kick in slo-mo. It hurts a bit but it helps kicks a lot. Also helps balance a LOT.

You’ll become more flexible, although I don’t know that they will especially focus on flexibility. Before class or the beginning portion of class will be devoted to stretching and loosening up. After attending so many classes, all of that stretching will begin to show up in your flexibility. Being taught proper technique can also help, which they will (or should) do.

Also consider stretching outside of class as well if you want to really accelerate the process of gaining flexibility. Any time can be a good time to stretch a bit.

i went to 2 diffrent places to train and they both didnt teach you that.
we’d strech before training but not too much.
people who actually are going far in their training are reccomended to even do ballet so there flexibility is greater.
if they refuse to do that they are just asked on their own time to strech their legs alot.

    hope i helped!:)

Yup but when you become experienced you will relise how vulnerable you become when you kick high best to kick low where you can end a fight by breaking a person leg. Yes they teach flexibily that prevents injury and is very good for your body. You should strech on a regular bases when you start martial arts.

I would think they would teach stretching exercises.
