I think Akiyama is big because of his history as a bad boy in Judo with the slippery gi. Sakuraba later made the same complaint in an MMA match against Akiyama. Akiyama said it was skin lotion, but nevertheless his repuation was stained.
The UFC wants controversy with their “bad” fighters so they can put a “good guy” against them. The smack talking is WWE’ish.

I dont think you gave Hendo enough credit for this fight, just cause hes old doesnt mean his skills have dwendled, obviously being as that was one of the sickest KO’s i’ve seen.

Todd, I respect your predicting abilities, but you were off on this one. Dan has 12 wins by TKO/KO and 13 wins by decision. He is just a calm fighter and will slug it out at times, despite the decisions.
Yes, Dan is out of his prime, but it was due time that he destroyed the fraud known as Bisping. Bisping fought nobodies, and Hamil was robbed against him.
Rich Franklin is next. Although I love footwork, Rich has become the running man just like Bisping. Dan will murder him as well.
