Combat Ready Training- MMA Fighter Strength Training- Kenny Moyston

www.combatreadytraining.co.uk ….as featured in Combat Network Magazine (http In my experience, no area is more neglected than strength training. Fighters and combat athletes always have great cardio, but few are strong pound for pound. Fighters will shy away from Strength training as they think it will put un-wanted muscle mass on their frame. This is incorrect- in this video I will show you how! For more information on Strength training, please go to: combatreadytraining.blogspot.com

    just looks like the sort of training the women do in my gym- lots of nice buzz words like primal movements but little hardcore strength

    @COMBATREADYTRAINING I like the training but do you also include more explosive movements such as squat jumps, deadlift jumps, powercleans, ball throws, push up explosions, etc.

    @TheAntMMA answer is YES.
    We include explosive movements in the appropriate phase of training, which is the Power phase. Here we’ll do plyometrics etc.
    In this video we’re simply showcasing a fighter in the Strength phase of training, which is just before the Power phase in our periodisation model of training.
