Can a 16 Year Old With No Training Take MMA\jujitsu?
I know it would be an entirely new level from the karate class I took while younger but I was wondering would I need to already be extremely fit and or trained before I can take classes? I’m not looking to fight just get in shape and learn.
To clarify I am fit enough.. 8% body fat I am just not extremely strong so if they start off with 50 pullups I will not do so well
Yeah you can "take" the class i mean you can do any martial arts at any age on my book…. so yeah so just take the classes and then higher u get in the classes youll gain strenght : ) so yeah i started TWD n Karate when i was 13 sooooo well i was younger but same thing right?lol but yeah just take the class : ) good lucks!!! aku cinta kamu ahebek habiby!!!
yes you should be fit being fit b4 u start will help alot and yes you can join classes you just have to search for nearby training facilitys.
do not fall for schools that offer MMA or grappling. Look for a presigous school with a lot to offer, rather than falling for a school that just makes you hit focus pads and do submissions. Look around for good schools that would fit what style you want to partake. I travel 1hr/half several times a week to go to a gym/dojo.
Hell yea go for it kid. the younger you are when you start learning this stuff the better. if you aint fit now you can get fit learning it.
